Trind didn't want to lie, "It was an okay nights rest, but I just couldn't get to sleep entirely. I kept waking up frightened... I guess all this hype about the murderer and..." she trialed off, looking down at the floors and then what Miya was doing, realizing she probably just made things awkward. "what are you making?"

Miya giggled at the girl's sudden change of subject but decided it was better to move on. "Pancakes, eggs, biscuits, sausage, and gravy. Wanna help"

"of course!" She immediately cheered at the thought of helping, that and she loved to cook. Her and Miya finished everything in record time, the whole house filling with the sweet aroma of a home cooked breakfast... and of the blueberry muffins they decided to make as well (but they were still in the oven.)

Trind smiled at their banquet and looked at Miya, "Thank you." Before Miya had time to answer, Brand came out in nothing but his gray boxer-briefs, scratching his head and yawning.

Miya giggled as she gave the older male a once over, noting that though she had seen many bodies in her life, particularlx when she was younger, this was the first one that truely made her hot in the bathrobe as it were. "I wish I had known it was casual day," she started after noting the slight buldge in his front, "I would have worn my birthday suit." She giggled cutely and tugged the knot of her sash before opening the top part of the robe just till the edges of her areolas were showing and down till you could see the top of her thin patch oe fur. She then spun around and corrected her robe before grinning at the now incredibly large buldge in brand's shorts.

Brand glared at her way with a large smirk on his face, "you think you can get away with that just because you're my boss..." he came up behind her and put a hand on her shoulder, "but you only slide so far..." he leaned forward to where his lips nearly brushed her ear, "... down my cock." Now that he had made his boss blush like a catholic school girl and stretched again and kissed Trind on the cheek. "Morning sunshine." Trind smiled and handed him the plate she had made for him, it piled so high it was about 5 pounds... not including the plate weight.

Miya quickly regained her composure and grabbed a stale bagel off her toaster, spun in place and, just as Brand was about to take his first bite, threw the bread with great force and precision, pegging the male in the forehead, knocking both him and the chair backwards. "Actually pencil boy, I can get away with it because I'm more woman then you'll ever be able to handle."

The bagel stung almost as a rock would've, luckily it wasn't stale or it would've broken skin. He laid on the floor, plate on his chest... though the training he had in the war served purpose since nothing but a piece of bacon was on the ground. Trind was speechless, completely clueless as to what they were talking about. "Um..." She looked from the two of them and then back. Brand got up on his elbows and smirked, "god I love 'em spicy!"

Miya knealt beside the male and licked her full lips and spread heq legs just enough for him to se her inner thighs as she leaned in close. "In your dreams baby," she said seductively before shoving a sausage link up the elder's nose.

Brand winced, taking the 'beating' or... shoving if you will. Over in the kitchen Trind was laughing hysterically, holding her sides and leaning on the counter top. "O-okay you t-t-two... hahaha, you g-guys fight w-w-orse than... than si-siblings!!" Brand smiled and stood up with sausage still in nostril, "I don't know, I think it's kind of manly." He struck a pose.

Once her giggles subsided, Trind prepared a modest plate of food and sat down at the table across from her Brother who was already on his second plate. "Where do you fit all that food?" She asked in astonishment, fondling the locket around her neck. Brand shrugged, "I think it just evaporates into thin air... or is admittedly melts by my hard core stomach acid." When Trind made a face Brand laughed and shoved a piece of bacon and two eggs in his mouth.

Miya sighed and sat beside Trind with a plate stacked twice as high as Brand's first one. "It's quite simple dear. He has a high metabolism, so his stomach converts his food to energy almost instantly."

She nodded, "True, but than why is he so lazy?" She smiled at Brand who pretended to take insult. Trind looked to Miya's plate flabbergasted while comparing their's to hers. Brand sighed and went for a cup of coffee, "Anyone want a cup?" He already started pouring a cup for Miya.

Miya didn't answer, intent on finishing her plate as soon as possible in order to begin her second. In the thirty seconds since she had finished explaining to Trind, Miya had already put away almost half he plate.

Trind shook her head, "No thank you, " she looked at Miya, "Um... do you have any tea?" Brand came back to the table and set a large mug next to Miya and took his seat and put his mug to his lips... taking his coffee black. "Didn't you bring your tea?" His sister looked down at her half finished plate and gave an embarrassed smile, "I had just finished the last of it before ..." She trailed off, "... yeah."

*Miya swallowed hard and took a large gulp of the coffee before setting it down with a contented sigh. "I've got a sh*t ton o' the stuff in the cabinet above the stove. I haven't had much time to enjoy it in a while since I usually just grab a cop of caffine and jet."

Trind smiled at her, "Maybe sometime you and I can have a girls day while you make this one go on patrol or something. In the park, having a nice picnic with a hot cup of tea." She sighed with the vision and looked at Brand who was staring her down. "... what?" Brand put his fork to his mouth while thinking, "Why am I not invited in this girl thing?" Trind laughed and shook her head as she got up and put a kettle on.

Miya grinned wide over her cup at the male. "Jeeze, I knew you were small, but I would never have thought you were a girl," she said trying to hold back a fit of laughter.

Brand threw one of Trind's muffins at Miya while taking a bite out of another one. His sister just laughed and shook her head, "You know, by the way you two act one would think you're married." When the room was silent she cleared her throat, being saved by the whistle of the kettle.

Miya ignored eye contact with either of the siblings and busied herself with the plate of food before her, which was now almost empty.

Brand was watching for Miya's reaction; with the facade of not caring and 'busy' act it just made him internally smirk. "Hm." Was what came with the internal reaction. Trind poured the steaming water into a large mug with a lemon tea bag bobbing within it's walls. "If it's okay with you two, I need to do some shopping..."

Brand's mouth dropped, some muffin falling to the ground. "What?! Why the hell not?!" Trind was laughing while she bobbed the tea bag in and out of the water, letting the essence of tea leaves stain the clear water.

Miya looked at Brand with a wicked glint in the corner of her eye. "Because. I'm your bodyguard for the time being, and until you are placed on the force I can't leave you alone."

She finished off her coffee and sat back in her seat. "Besides, I get the feeling Trind and I will have need of a big, strong, man to help us carry everything," she said with a slight teasing in her voice.

Trind was just staring at Brand, waiting for his answer, the steam of her tea hitting her face. Brand looked from the too women, dumbfounded, "This isn't fair, I'm out numbered." He crossed his arms, "I'm not doing it." When there was no answer from either of them he groaned and threw up his hands. "Fine! But I swear, I will get you two back for this." he filled his coffee again (it somehow disappearing) and sucked it down, knowing he'd need the energy.
